Compare web analytics tools
Quiet Metrics compared with Google Analytics, Matomo, Plausible, Umami, Fathom, SimpleStats and Ranetrace: each page says when the other tool fits better.
We publish Quiet Metrics, and we compare our product with others. The rules are the same on every page: what we write about a competitor comes from its own published pages; no prices are copied; and each page says what the other tool does well and when it is better to keep it.
Each comparison shows its own survey date and lists its sources. This page makes no claim about any other tool: it only points to those comparisons.

Where to start
Leaving GA4? Start with the Google Analytics alternative.
Running a Matomo or Umami instance? Your tool's page has a step-by-step migration section.
Torn between Umami and Plausible? Umami vs Plausible compares them without putting us at the centre.
The method, in two pages
What sets us apart comes down to two choices, explained separately: server-side tracking, which starts from your PHP application rather than the browser, and how we count, with no identifying or tracking cookies and a fingerprint destroyed every night.
